Bill Lowe
Bill Lowe is an award-winning director, writer, and editor with a career spanning network television, independent film, and historical documentaries. A founding member of the Yosemite Fantasy Film Festival, Bill brings both industry expertise and a deep passion for storytelling to the event.
His original Western drama Las Mariposas—set in the Sierra Foothills during the California Gold Rush—has won three Best Screenplay awards and draws comparisons to Yellowstone for its sweeping narrative and powerful themes. As an editor, Bill has contributed to iconic shows like Seinfeld, That’s So Raven, Hearts Afire, and numerous comedy specials including the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.
A proud resident of Mariposa, Bill is deeply rooted in the community. He actively supports civic organizations, contributes to local events, and champions causes that uplift and unite. His passion for film is matched by his commitment to making a positive impact in the place he calls home.

Dominic Coleman
Dominic Coleman is a seasoned industry professional with over 30 years of experience in film, television, and live production. A founding member of the Yosemite Fantasy Film Festival, Dominic brings a versatile and dynamic background that spans music videos, live events, acting, producing, and directing.
Throughout his career, Dominic has worked across multiple facets of the entertainment industry, shaping visual experiences from behind and in front of the camera. His projects range from high-energy music videos and large-scale concert productions to scripted films and immersive theatrical performances. His ability to seamlessly blend creativity with technical execution has earned him the respect of peers and collaborators alike.
A passionate advocate for storytelling in all forms, Dominic’s work is fueled by a love for artistic innovation and elevating new voices. His leadership, vision, and deep industry knowledge make him an invaluable part of the Yosemite Fantasy Film Festival’s judging panel.

Michael Hall
Michael Hall is a seasoned post-production professional with a career spanning over 40 years in television and film. A founding member and judge of the Yosemite Fantasy Film Festival, Michael’s expertise in storytelling and visual composition has shaped some of the most acclaimed productions in entertainment.
His extensive credits include influential series such as The Mentalist, Supernatural, Smallville, China Beach, Jack & Jill, and Seinfeld, as well as feature films like Black Beauty, Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh, and the original Bourne Identity mini-series. Michael's craftsmanship behind the scenes has been instrumental in creating seamless, emotionally compelling, and visually rich narratives that resonate with audiences worldwide.
Now a proud resident of Mariposa, Michael brings his deep love for storytelling to his local community. He serves as Vice President of the Mariposa Butterfly Festival and is the creative force behind Jurassic Mariposa, a beloved interactive experience featuring animatronic dinosaurs and insects that inspire children and families each year.
Michael’s enduring passion for film and community makes him a vital part of the Yosemite Fantasy Film Festival. His discerning eye and lifelong commitment to excellence continue to uplift the next generation of storytellers.
Sean Menzies
Sean Menzies is a highly accomplished editor and post-production professional with over 30 years of experience in the film and entertainment industry. A creative force behind the scenes, Sean has built a career spanning blockbuster films, award-winning trailers, and international promotional campaigns.
Sean has contributed to the editorial work of acclaimed titles such as Contact, Save the Last Dance, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, and Night of the Running Man. He also worked on early visual effects coordination for Stuart Little and large-scale international promos, including a Cannes showcase cut of Armageddon.
For nearly two decades, Sean has served as a key editor with Walt Disney Pictures, crafting foreign-language dialogue edits for trailers, television spots, and electronic press kits. His experience extends beyond editing—he’s co-produced Cinema Expos for Disney, managed complex film asset deliveries under tight deadlines, and has written, directed, and edited original short films.
Known for his precision, adaptability, and deep understanding of cinematic storytelling, Sean brings a refined editorial eye to the judging panel. His dedication to the craft and love for fantasy narratives make him an invaluable part of the Yosemite Fantasy Film Festival.
